Dr. Tamaika Floy, DPM is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where she received her doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 2015. She then went on to complete a three-year residency in foot and ankle surgery at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. While in residency, Dr. Floy worked on research to formulate a classification system for fractures of the fifth metatarsal in the foot. Dr. Floy also completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at Mercer University in Macon, GA, where she majored in Biology and Latin.
Outside of work, Dr. Floy enjoys reading, hiking, paddle boarding, traveling, and scrapbooking.
Dr. Floy joined the team at SynergyHealth Foot and Ankle with a special interest in the management of lower extremity musculoskeletal injuries, wound care and limb salvage, pediatric foot injuries, and diabetic foot care.
