SynergyHealth Advocates at 2026 VPMA Lobby Day in Richmond

At SynergyHealth Foot & Ankle, we take pride in serving our community through outreach, charity events, and industry leadership. As trusted partners in our community, we strive to connect with other medical experts and stay current with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine. On February 18, Dr. Ushita Patel, Dr. Bob Toomey, and Dr. Luke Vetti attended a successful VPMA Lobby Day, representing podiatric physicians at the General Assembly.

Hosted by the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association (VPMA) in Richmond, the SynergyHealth team met with legislators and staff, including Senator Christie Craig, Senator Danica Roem, Del. Lee Ware, Senator Glen Sturtevant, Del. Jay Leftwich, and Del. Josh Thomas. Not only was this a chance for our team to engage in insightful conversations, but it also strengthened relationships within our community.

Advancing Podiatric Medicine Through Advocacy

As long-standing members of the VPMA and active leaders in the podiatric community, Dr. Patel, Dr. Toomey, and Dr. Vetti proudly stand behind its mission to advance and advocate for podiatric medicine across Virginia. Through collaboration, education, and public awareness, the VPMA offers SynergyHealth Foot & Ankle resources and opportunities to provide patients with the best possible holistic care. In addition to representing podiatrists at this year’s Lobby Day, Dr. Patel and Dr. Vetti also lectured at the VPMA Annual Conference in 2025, further demonstrating their commitment to providing quality care and continuing education.

As we look ahead, Dr. Vetti and Dr. Patel are thrilled about exploring future opportunities to connect with industry leaders and expand VPMA membership.
