Both Dr. Patel and Dr. Luke Vetti were leaders in the VPMA conference this year, directing a bandaging workshop course aimed at teaching medical assistants the basics of wound care bandaging, post-operative bandaging, three-layer compression, cast application, and Unna boot fitting.

During her interview with RAMSC, Dr. Patel discussed VPMA's future goals, especially its expansion. Besides recruiting new students and interacting with the community to improve foot and ankle care, VPMA advocates for collaborative efforts from the podiatry and medical communities.

On November 18, 2022, the team at SynergyHealth Foot & Ankle had the immense pleasure of attending Richmond Academy of Medicine’s 200th Anniversary Gala.
