This holiday season, SynergyHealth Foot & Ankle reinforced its commitment to community health and wellness across Richmond and the surrounding areas of Central Virginia during the Rotary District 7600 grant kickoff. Dr. Luke Vetti, a member of the Rotary Club of James River in Richmond, was proud to serve as the club’s president this year. Since being voted into office, supporting this Rotary District 7600 initiative has been one of his primary goals.
The large-scale effort brought together community partners with a shared focus on improving health, stability, and access to resources. In collaboration with leaders from the Rotary Clubs of Chesterfield, Midlothian, Bon Air, and West Richmond, as well as the Friends of the Chesterfield County Public Libraries (FCCPL), the West Richmond Rotary Foundation, and the Chesterfield Public Library System, the Rotary Club of James River worked to support individuals in need through a long-term wellness initiative.
Through funding awarded by Rotary District 7600, the outreach effort helped provide care packages, essential supplies, and curated resource materials designed to support both immediate needs and longer-term stability. Participants also received a book of their choice to encourage learning, motivation, and personal growth. Additional funding support was provided by the FCCPL through its book donation program, reinforcing the initiative’s focus on both physical and mental well-being.
A key factor in the initiative’s success was the compassion and collaboration demonstrated by the community partners involved. By working together, the group aimed to support whole-person wellness, addressing not only immediate health needs but also dignity, education, and long-term stability.
SynergyHealth Foot & Ankle’s involvement reflects its belief that health care extends beyond the clinic. By supporting initiatives like the Rotary District 7600 grant program, the practice continues to champion podiatric care as part of a broader foundation for overall wellness, mobility, and community health.
