Dr. Ushita Patel of SynergyHealth Foot and Ankle proudly attended the Richmond Academy of Medicine’s (RAM) annual Medicine Ball at The Country Club of Virginia in Westhampton. This prestigious event, held on Saturday, November 2, brought together over 300 guests, including more than 200 RAM members, to raise funds for Access Now, a vital initiative providing free specialty medical care to uninsured patients.

The evening was filled with fine dining, lively music, and an exciting silent auction, creating a truly magical atmosphere. RAM reported an outstanding $99,000 in sponsorship contributions, with event proceeds totaling between $30,000 and $40,000 to support Access Now’s mission. These funds will help ensure that those without health insurance receive the medical care they need, without financial barriers standing in their way.

As a dedicated podiatrist, Dr. Patel recognizes the importance of community service and healthcare accessibility. By attending and supporting the Medicine Ball, she reinforces SynergyHealth Foot and Ankle’s commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and community outreach. “I am honored to support such a meaningful cause,” said Dr. Patel. “Access Now plays a crucial role in bridging the gap for those in need, and it’s inspiring to see our medical community come together to make a difference.”

The Richmond Academy of Medicine, Virginia’s oldest and largest medical society, continues to evolve and advocate for both physicians and patients, fostering professional collaboration and advancing healthcare initiatives. Events like the Medicine Ball are a testament to RAM’s dedication to serving the Richmond community.

SynergyHealth Foot and Ankle remains committed to providing high-quality podiatric care in a compassionate and holistic manner. Dr. Patel and her colleagues strive to enhance the well-being of their patients while actively participating in initiatives that promote better healthcare access for all.
