On November 18, 2022, the team at SynergyHealth Foot & Ankle had the immense pleasure of attending Richmond Academy of Medicine’s 200th Anniversary Gala. Dr. Patel and Dr. Vetti joined hundreds of RAM members for a night of delicious food, lively dancing, and more at the Commonwealth Club in Richmond, Virginia.
The event not only celebrated two centuries of Virginia’s oldest and largest medical society; it was also an opportunity to support and raise awareness of Access Now. Access Now is a RAM program that provides specialty care to uninsured patients in Central Virginia. It has successfully referred more than 2,100 patients to more than 1,000 physicians and health professionals to receive the complex care they need.
During the event, RAM held auctions for fabulous prizes and trips around the globe. All proceeds from the live and silent auction went directly to Access Now, helping raise essential funds to assist with the program’s growth!
Our very own Dr. Patel is a dedicated member of Access Now and on its Board of Directors. SynergyHealth Foot & Ankle proudly donates physician services to Access Now enrollees, which includes all our podiatry services.
As Virginia Podiatric Medical Associations’ Richmond Division President, Dr. Vetti, has also taken steps to promote the program within the podiatric community in Richmond and ensure our current and future patients understand our commitment to their health.
It was an honor to continue our support of the program by attending this event. Not only that, but it was also thrilling to see how many other local physicians and providers back the program to ensure it continues to grow and help our community thrive, no matter their insurance or economic status.
RAM serves as a strong advocate for both physicians and patients and offers. Here at SynergyHealth Foot & Ankle, we’re proud to be members of such a distinguished and notable nonprofit organization.
